Vacation Style + Packing dos and don'ts for a Beach Vacay

With the recent rains for the onset of Spring, we don't blame you for wanting to book your ticket to some place warm and sandy. Here are some tips for packing your bag, as requested by some of our fav in-store customers!

Versatility, Dresses that can be day or night, Try to ensure the outfits you choose to pack can take you from beach to bar with minimum effort.

Denim, at least two pairs of denim shorts or a denim skirt, These are vital and perfect to throw on over your favourite one piece swim suit (Also worn as a body suit)

More than one swim suit. There is nothing worse that putting a wet swim suit back on after lunch. Make sure you have a few pairs to allow for a couple of changes per day.

Pack your own beach towel or sarong. We have all been there- with the resort pool towel that doesn't quite cut it. Skip the hassle and take your own. A travel scarf can double as a sarong.

A pair of slides or flip flops. Enough said.

Hat and sunscreen. Avoid paying inflated resort pricing on your sunscreen and buy before you go.

Bring a Scarf in your Carry-on. The travel scarf is vital. Can be used as an accessory, pillow, blanket, sarong, top
